• Responsible for running, via Jenkins and AT2, performance testing for multiple releases in a CICD environment. Provide updates to Jenkins and various SET activities to ensure tests are up to date. Additionally, reviewing test failures and results, utilizing Jupyter notebooks and MySQL databases.
• First point of contact for Linux hardware/server issues for development and test teams using CTL. Triage failures on the nine different platforms, to include: software and hardware failures, drive issues, cluster failures, OS issues, and problems arising from Jenkins jobs.

Micron – Sr FW Test Engineer/ Sr SSD Compatibility Validation Engineer  
Longmont, CO

• Performed firmware testing on SSD drives both manually and through automated systems. Utilize OakGate, FPGA, and various Linux, and Windows, configurations to test the firmware for SAS, SATA, and PCIe drives. Additionally, create and implement scripts, with Python, for automated testing through Jenkins configurations. Responsible for the first level Performance testing with the OakGate systems and Medusa IO.
• Performed compatibility and customer validation testing on SSD drives. Responsible for setup, execution, and reporting for both manual and automated tests, including performance. Additionally, responsible for capturing analyzer traces and debugging firmware issues found during testing. Provided documented test cases and test plans for each product release. Utilized Python to create scripts for NVME drive testing.

• Performed software testing as a contractor, then as an employee, for LSI at the firmware level. Then worked on a team testing new builds of hardware and the associated firmware.
• Utilize Linux and Windows Operating Systems, with numerous configurations that involve various types of installs, cabling, enclosures, expanders, and SAS/SATA devices.
• Debugging involves SAS Analyzers, PCIe Analyzers, and Logic Analyzers to track down both software and hardware defects.
• Responsible for Destructive Domain testing, SR-IOV (virtualization) testing, and additional firmware testing on the Invader project with FPGA’s.
