Rich Geoffroy
Rich Geoffroy has held several positions in product and material evaluation, coatings and adhesives, and membrane development for electrochemical applications. Rich is widely recognized by the plastic pipe industry for his time as Department Manager for Springborn Laboratories where he directed the largest Plastic Pipe Evaluation Center in the world. Following that role, Rich established his own plastics engineering and consulting practice, Polymer Services Group, in 1985. Mr. Geoffroy provides advice, consultation, and expert witness services for major multinational corporate clients on programs involving polymer development, product design and engineering, and process development. Rich is a recognized specialist in plastic materials, processing, design, and testing and evaluation. He has been an active member of many professional associations and is currently serving as the Chairman of ASTM Committee F17 on Plastics Piping Systems.

- Extensive experience in plastic pipe, polymer blends, membranes, molded and extruded products, electrically-conductive moldings and coatings.
- Equally competent in all forms plastics processing including extrusion, injection, blow molding, vacuum forming, etc.
- Extensive litigation experience in patent litigation, personal injury, and product liability, and has worked with both foreign and domestic plaintiffs and defendants.
- Ability to develop test methods, perform product service-life prediction, risk assessment, and probable-cause failure analysis.
- Experience in performing stress analyses and chemical and physical evaluations.
